Canoe and Kayak rentals

A canoe or kayak trip down the Nissequogue River is a five mile journey that takes about 2 or 2 ˝ hours on the water.  You will start on one end of the river,  and paddle to the other end.  The time you start and the direction you paddle depends on which way the  tide is flowing.  Regardless of which way the tide is going,  we meet at the Paul T. Given County Park on Jericho Turnpike in Smithtown,  which is located diagonally across the street from the big bronze statue of  the Bull.  The tide is different every day,  and so the schedule is different every day.   Look up the Schedule,  Call for a reservation,  Print out and sign one release form for each person ,  and   Come On Down……

Group Rentals

6 or more canoes or kayaks

If you have a group of 6 or more canoes or kayaks,  you get $5 off each boat.   Please have everyone print out and sign one release form for each participant,  so we can save a little time at the beginning of the trip.  Call for reservations,  tell everyone in your party not to be late because  “…. time and tide wait for no man…”

Here’s the rules

1)  No alcohol - no beer,  no pot,  no bullshit

2) All children 12 and under must wear their lifejackets

3)  All boats are expected to come in on the other side of the river on time.
