Large
Groups- Bob's Canoe Rental, Inc. can
handle some pretty huge groups, 100
canoes or so, which translates into 2 or
3 hundred people. We need plenty of advance notice and plenty of careful
planning to make things go smoothly.
Each group is different, each day
is different. Call, and we can discuss your needs
Schools and Daycamps- The Nissequogue River is a great place to
bring your School class, Daycamp or other Youth Group on a canoe or kayak field
trip. Careful planning is a must. Wind
and tide, safety procedures, sweep boats, group organization- all must be

Daycamp Special Short Trips
- These two mile trips are specifically
designed to meet the needs of a daycamp,
to fit within the scheduled day,
and to be a fun experience for even the weaker paddlers. The tidal
conditions necessary for this trip are very specific and very limited, so please reserve early. Here is a sample itinerary. We can start or end earlier or later to suit
your needs.
10 am – arrive at Park, and
receive orientation
11:15- lunch break
